07/27/09: Michael was expecting his doctor’s clearance to return to the road in time for his Friday, July 31st performance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, however, he has had to cancel his appearance at Cain's Ballroom as well. The cancellations come as Michael celebrates the first multi-format hit of his career, “Say Hey (I Love You),” from his All Rebel Rockers CD, the highest Billboard Top 200 Album Chart debut of his career. The single has topped 200,000 in digital sales, a career sales high, and just this week debuted in the Top 10 on iTunes/Alternative Chart.

05/20/09: A proposed Cain’s Ballroom Music Museum and Historical Society is seeking to raise $2.5 million in funds to create the facility. The museum will house archives, public exhibitions and a place to experience Cain’s storied history. There will also be interactive exhibits like the “Mini-Cain’s Ballroom”, which will use some of the boards from the original ballroom floor. http://www.oklahomarock.com/blog/?p=1745
