Black Tiger Sex Machine
The Canadian trio Black Tiger Sex Machine are known for the BTSM sound, an explosive blend of heavy electro and bass. Their show is a unique experience with the perfect balance between a live performance and a DJ set. Their Tiger helmets and apocalyptic world have attracted legions of faithful fans.
BTSM’s meteoric rise started in 2015, with a first string of shows in the United States that had them quickly playing on the biggest stages at some of the biggest festivals in the world: Electric Forest, Lollapalooza, TomorrowWorld, Decadence, Electric Zoo and Escape from Wonderland.
Black Tiger Sex Machine built on their success with a blistering start to 2016. The Huffington Post hailed their debut album Welcome To Our Church as “one of the best electronic albums of the year.” This was the perfect launching pad for their first headline tour across North America, a rousing success with 49 shows and 25,000 tickets sold over 12 weeks. This upcoming winter, they're taking their live show to a new level, embarking on their second headline tour with more ambitious production.
BTSM also run Kannibalen Records, which has quickly become one of the top independent labels in dance music. Through Kannibalen, they’ve shaped the careers of breakthrough artists like Snails, Apashe, Kai Wachi, Dabin, and more. Kannibalen Records has been recognized worldwide through major publication partnerships with adidas, HBO, MTV, UFC, Microsoft and Budweiser.
Dabin is a 23-year old music producer from Toronto, Ontario. Having spent his teens learning to play the piano, drums and guitar, Dabin started producing electronic music in 2011. He quickly attracted the attention of Montreal-based Kannibalen Records and released his first tracks on the fledgling independent label in 2012. His music, ranging from mellow electronica to hard-pounding dubstep & electro, features lush sonic textures, rich melodies and intricate instrumental work. His songs have charted regularly on Beatport and Itunes and he's been featured several times on well-known online music channel UKF, racking up millions of plays along the way. He performs a unique genre-defying live show in which he incorporates live electronic guitar and synthesizers.
Having overrun most major cities, the Kannibalen plague now spreads to the forests and waterways of the countryside, devastating climates and casting a cloud of darkness over much of the Earth. In the American Midwest, a pack of infected wolves has reacted strangely to the Kannibalen virus, having been transformed into great were-beasts with cunning intelligence. The leader of the pack, Kai Wachi, must now guide his wolves to safety, for the wilderness is filled with bands of flesh-eating monsters even more dangerous than himself. As he attempts to grasp the realities of his new existence, he fills the night with the chilling sound of his blood-curdling howls.
Like a true craftsman, Krewx melds together all ends of the genre spectrum with the deepest bass and energetic layers of melodies designed to guide you on a musical journey. His light is shining brightly throughout the underground scene both behind the decks and in the studio. With Original Release Night After Night (7/7/2014), and This Feeling (5/25/15) in stores and his highly anticipated Future Womp EP set to release 7/20/15 on internationally known label Robot Dance Records (USA), Cody Tucker in just two years has masterminded a musical project that is quickly gaining worldwide attention. Pushing out the freshest edits and remixes month to month catching support from artist all over. Having played most major electronica festivals and venues in Oklahoma, this artist is only going to get bigger and better. Soon everyone will be on to Krewx. With a concrete background in House, and deep stomach-turning-heart-stopping bass, Krewx makes it nearly impossible to be labeled with any one specific genre but is most commonly known for Club DJing.
It is easy to see he is no stranger to the music scene. Formerly known as a lead/rhythm guitarist and songwriter for nationally known metal-core band The First Fight, Krewx has been either writing music, collaborating in recording studios, or performing live for audiences – even winning a Battle of the Bands age 12! Early influences include familiar electronic artists such as Familjen, Daft Punk, and Ratatat, he naturally gravitated to the underground rave scene which later quickly matured into the flourishing music career of Krewx, steam rolling into Electric Circus, a 3 year running residency in Tulsa,Ok. Krewx is on top of his game, building a loyal following, gaining international attention at a rapid rate with hopes to be in your city soon.
