Cain's Ballroom welcomes Bombay Bicycle Club to Tulsa, OK on April 21, 2020

A message from Bombay Bicycle Club...

We regretfully need to cancel our North American tour dates in April, May and June. While we don’t know when things will return to normal, it doesn’t feel right for our fans or the band and crew to be congregating in venues when Covid-19 continues to impact so many lives. As soon as we’re confident that it’s safe to play more shows we’ll look to organize new tour dates. Refunds will be available at point of purchase.

We know it’s not easy to be isolated from the people and places you love. We’ve been posting playlists on our socials that can hopefully help you pass a little time and we’re working on other things we hope to share with you soon.

Lots of Love, Bombay xx

It is with great joy that we can now announce that our new album is coming out on 17 January 2020. The album will be called Everything Else Has Gone Wrong. This is an album for anyone who’s ever turned to music in a time of crisis, whether personal or political. It’s about the solace one can get from listening to music or playing music when everything else in your life or the world has gone wrong. It’s about finding kernels of hope and renewal in dire situations.

In January and February 2020, we will tour the UK and Ireland in support of the album and we’ll be joined on these dates by The Big Moon and Liz Lawrence. Playing together again is such an unexpected surprise for the 4 of us and yet from the first moment we started rehearsing it felt as natural as if we’d played a show the night before. We feel a freshness playing live that can only come from having taken a step back and now we just want to play these new songs to as many people in as many countries as we can. More shows will be announced very soon.

For UK fans (ex-Belfast) if you pre-order the album via the official store by 17.00 on 10 September you’ll get 24-hour early access to our fan presale on 11 September. There are also lots of great bundles of merch that include the amazing album cover designed by Maria Medem.

Otherwise fan presale starts 10AM on 12 September via DICE and for both the UK and Dublin general on-sale starts 10AM on 13 September. Almost every ticket on this tour is a digital ticket to try to ensure tickets end up in the hands of fans. Please don’t buy from secondary ticketing sites.

Finally, the video for Eat, Sleep, Wake is now out. It was conceived and directed by our great friend Louis Bhose, who has worked with us in a variety of ways for more than ten years. It is tongue-in-cheek but also conveys how much we’ve missed making music with each other.

More to come.

Lots of love,

Bombay x
