B.B. King's Blues Band featuring Tito Jackson
B.B. King's Blues Band is the vision of King's former personal assistant and tour manager, Myron Johnson. After King's passing Johnson, CEO of MJ Productions & Entertainment,Inc. put B.B.'s band back together and now presents them to the world as B.B. King's Blues Band. The band is composed of King's actual band members who were employed by and traveled the world with B.B. over a period of 30+ years until his passing in 2015. It is the band's mission to share B.B. King's style and music with the world, to introduce new generations to the Man, as well as the rich and diverse collection of music left by B.B. In short, "the thrill is not gone". The music lives on and B.B. King's Blues Band is bringing it to you.

In late 2017, Tito Jackson announced that he is teaming up with B.B. King's Blues Band. He made the announcement at the Withers Collection Museum and Gallery on Beale Street. They will be going on a major world tour together after spending time in Memphis to rehearse. Tito says he's a blues man at heart and has always idolized B.B. King. “I've always been a blues player, ever since the day I picked up the guitar, I guess,” says Tito Jackson. Also following in the footsteps of B.B. King, Tito says he plans to name his specially made Gibson guitar after someone close to him. His guitar will carry the name "Katie," which is what most people call his mother.
