Dulcé’s memoir written in comedic essays Hello, Friends! – Stories of Dating, Destiny, and Day Jobs was released by Random House on 2/6/24. From a childhood moving between cities, starting her own business selling toys at a Miami flea market, to being a Black kid in a predominately white school, she’s always used her masterful wit to challenge the status quo. Her stories are both wildly entertaining and culturally resonant.
Her new Netflix set premiered on November 28th as part of their new standup series Verified Stand Up with The New York Times lauding “In less than 15 minutes, her set packs a wallop.”She can also be heard as part of the cast of FOX’s hit animated series The Great North, currently in its 4th season, on which Sloan voices the character “Honeybee” alongside an ensemble of comedy heavyweights including Jenny Slate, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, Will Forte, and Paul Rust.
